Comfort in the uncomfortable
What would a pod hotel look like in America?
There are millions of travelers through North America every year. So far, not many affordable, easy, sleeping solutions exist in most airports. Travelers are supposed to sleep in any open area while also watching their luggage.
My goal was to design a capsule hotel that would succeed in the busy North American airports. Allowing travelers to get rest and not worry about their luggage.
The interior is insulated with fire resistant acoustic panels for added protection and to prevent excessive noise pollution in the sleeping area.
The Nite Hotel:
• Is stackable to save space
• leaves plenty of secure room for luggage
• provides Proximity without sacrificing privacy.
